ABC Ambulance Services Ltd is a dedicated team of medics, paramedics, carers and drivers. We offer an extensive and professional service for numerous types of clients, events and circumstances.

Nurses: - All our nurses are experienced NHS trained nurses currently working in specialities such as Accident and Emergency, Intensive Care, Emergency Nurse Practitioners. All hold senior positions in their chosen specialty areas. Some of our nurses are experienced in "In-flight" nursing care for patient repatriations home and abroad.

Care Assistants: - For basic nursing care needs, we have experienced care assistants currently employed by the NHS. All of our care assistants work in specialty areas such as Accident and Emergency, Intensive Care, Orthopaedics and Trauma and Care of the Elderly.

Paramedics: - All our paramedic staff are NHS trained State Registered Paramedics and currently employed by the NHS. They have further certificated training which is recognised by the British Motor Sport Association to deal with Motor Sport Injuries.

First Aid: - Our first aiders have several years experience in first aid care, some with a first aid teaching certificate. All have hands-on experience working with the sick and injured.

Drivers/care assistants/First-On-Scene: - The majority of our drivers are trained to advanced driving levels, with Blue Light Driving standard. They are also experienced in basic care of the sick and injured. There is an on-going training programme recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons in First-On-Scene at major incidents/accidents which make them a valuable assistant for Paramedics and A/E Trauma Nurses.

Work currently undertaken:
Patient transfers: - We currently undertake a large percentage of non-emergency patient transfers for Forth Valley Health Board, either hospital to hospital or hospital to home. For non-emergencies, we are mobile within 30 minutes of a call-out. We also undertake non-emergency patient transfers for local Private Hospitals.

Private individuals: - We offer very competitive rates for members of the public who require the use of an ambulance and crew when a taxi transfer is unsuitable due to reasons of infirmity. Going on holiday? We can take you by ambulance to your chosen destination and collect you at the end of your stay. If you don't wish to travel by ambulance, we can provide the staff to accompany you to your destination and return you to your place of residence at the end of your holiday.

Music Festivals: - We supply experienced Accident and Emergency Nurses/Paramedics for Build-up and Load out at Music festivals. Also available are Front Line ambulances and First Aiders for crowd cover during the event.

Sporting Events: - Whatever the event, or where-ever the venue, we have experienced staff available for sporting events from Mountain Biking to Horse Racing, from Abseiling to Gymnastics, from American football to soccer.

Transplant teams: - We can provide transportation for the movement of Transplant Teams and Organs for Transplant to anywhere in the country. We can also provide ambulances for recipients for transplant organs.

Medical equipment: - Movement of essential equipment any time of day or night is no problem either hospital to hospital or hospital to patients' homes.

Specimens/case notes/blood for transfusion: - We are available 24 hours per day for the movement of specimens to any part of the country.
